SNAP is a Federal Resource Available to qualifying individuals to receive a monthly donation for free to help pay for their food expenses. SNAP Income Qualifications are based on the Thrifty Food Plan written by USDA Government Regulators in the United States of America.

In Washington State you can apply for SNAP and receive a letter from County Offices that lists how much money you will receive on the Washington Connection's Website : https://www.washingtonconnection.org/home/

If you are approved for monthly donations, you will receive an EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer ) Card in the mail that works like a debit card. Instead of this card using your own funds, every time you make a purchase with your EBT Card the money will pull from your Government EBT Washington Connections Account.

It is recommended that if you feel that you're experiencing electronic issues with your account that you reset your Washington Connection account's password to help protect your SNAP benefits from potential theft or fraud.
